Fall Sports In Session

Fall sports kicked off their 2005 season with the Boy's Water Polo team hitting the pool at 7:30 am. Football was close behind at 8am, followed by Girl's Volleyball at 9am and Girl's Tennis at 10am. Football and Water Polo are scheduled for a second practice today during "Hell Week". New Malibu High Football coach Ray Humphrey and his staff looked ready to go as they had approximately 50 players show up for the first day, including about 15 freshmen.

Water polo was seen using very few balls and doing many conditioning drills. Most drills were timed to see their progress as the season opener approaches. Coach Mulligan and his staff utilized the entire pool, along with the deck, to put their team through early season workouts, always under the gentle reminder of eleven straight Frontier League banners.
